"Mickey" Heinecken (born January 25, 1939) was the head football coach for the Middlebury College Panthers football team from 1973 to 2000, making him the longest-tenured and winningest coach all-time at Middlebury.[2][3] In his final season, Heinecken guided the Panthers to a New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Co-Championship.[3] Heinecken also played collegiately for the University of Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens football from 1958–1960.
