Michael Greathouse (born 1969) is an American artist based in New York.
Greathouse was born in Kansas City, Missouri. He is an artist and film maker.
His most recent works are a series of short black and white videos produced exclusively with computer animation.
The videos are inspired by B/W hollywood horror films and film noir.[1]He received his BFA in sculpture from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1991. He studied under professor Dale Eldred. In 2000 he received an MFA from the University of New Orleans.
His videos have been shown internationally including venues in New York, Miami, Italy, Turkey, Ukraine, and Russia.
