Workers Autonomous Federation is a category of illegal trade unions of China. Some took part in the Tiananmen movement of 1989. Changsha and Yueyang in Hunan were among the cities, where a Workers Autonomuous Federation was active in 1989. Other Workers Autonomuous Federations existed in Shanghai and Beijing.
