Callistemon pinifolius (Pine-leaved Bottlebrush) is a shrub in the family Myrtaceae. It is native to the state of New South Wales in Australia.
It grows up to 1 metre in height. The leaves are 4 to 8 cm long and 0.5 to 1.5 mm wide. These are terete or channeled and have sharply-pointed tips. The flower spikes are yellowish green or red with slightly darker anthers.[1]
The species was first formally described by botanist Johann Christoph Wendland in 1805 as Metrosideros pinifolia. The species was transferred to the genus Callistemon by Robert Sweet in 1826.[2]
