Metni Vrh is a dispersed settlement in the hills to the north of Sevnica in east central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Styria. The Sevnica municipality is now included in the Lower Sava statistical region.[2]

The local church, built on a small hill just south of the part of the settlement known as Žabjak, is dedicated to Saint Lawrence and belongs to the Sevnica parish. It dates to the 17th century with some late 18th century modifications.[3]
