Melville S. Green

Melville S. Green

Melville S. Green (died 1979[1]) was a statistical physicist.

He is known for the Green-Kubo relations.

He also worked on the Yvon–Born–Green hierarchy,[2] which however is not named for him, but for Herbert S. Green.
