Melrose Peak

Melrose Peak (82°19′S 160°14′E / 82.317°S 160.233°E / -82.317; 160.233) is a peak 4 nautical miles (7 km) south of Peters Peak in the Holyoake Range. Mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from tellurometer surveys and Navy air photos, 1960-62. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Robert L. Melrose, United States Antarctic Research Program (USARP) meteorologist at Hallett Station, 1963-64.
