Early Life and Career
Pearcy was born in North Miami Beach, Florida and was raised a Christian. She has Irish, French, and Italian ancestry.
Pearcy started modeling at when she was 1 year old, appearing in a Pampers commercial. At the age of 15, Pearcy was signed to Irene Marie Models in Miami Beach, Florida where she continued her young modeling career. Pearcy moved to Los Angeles, California in the early 1990s. Soon after moving to Los Angeles, Pearcy modeled for Guess, and appeared in Italian Vogue.
Pearcy has made several television appearances, including Howard Stern's television show, Melrose Place, and Baywatch Nights.[1] Melissa has also appeared in the video for RATT's song Best of Me in 2010.
Pearcy created, and designed an upscale pet furniture line in 2007 named Not So Shabby Pets. She gives back over 25% of all sales to charities, and Animal Welfare Organizations such as The Humane Society of the United States, Best Friends Animal Society and Kitten Rescue.[2]
Personal life
Pearcy married RATT lead vocalist Stephen Pearcy on September 12, 1999 after dating for 4 years. The couple has one daughter, Jewel (born July 25, 1996).[3] The family currently lives in Los Angeles, California.
