Melinda Wang (Chinese: 王展玲; pinyin: Wáng Zhǎnlíng) (born December 18, 1990) is a Taiwanese-American figure skater who competes internationally for Taiwan in ladies singles. She is the 2010 Taiwanese National Champion.^[1] She was ranked first in 2008 and second in 2009 by the Chinese Taipei Skating Union. As of 2011^[update], she is ranked #106 in the world by the International Skating Union.^[2]

Personal life

Wang was born on December 18, 1990, in New York City, New York. She is currently a student and trains in Newark, Delaware.

Career

Wang started skating at the age of four. She made her debut on the international scene at the 2008 Four Continents, representing Taiwan.^[3] She finished 15th and earned a berth to the 2008 World Championships where she placed 23rd.^[4]
