Medal record equestrian Competitor for the United States Olympic Games Gold 1984 Los Angeles Show jumping, Team Melanie Smith (born 23 September 1949) is an equestrian from the United States and Olympic champion. She won a gold medal in show jumping with the American team at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.[1]
