Gameplay
As the fictional detective, the player must through places like Paris, Austria, and even Berlin to solve the mystery. There is a lot of talking and some investigating to do (just like in all the Sherlock Holmes books, television shows, and movies ever made). All the communication is in Japanese; not even the names of cities are in English. It is assumed that any English that would be traditionally spoken by Mr. Sherlock Holmes has been translated to Japanese for an audience of Japanese games. Players can choose to start a new adventure or continue an old one by using a password of Japanese characters.
