Me to We is a for-profit, self-described social enterprise[citation needed] founded in 2008 by brothers Craig Kielburger and Marc Kielburger that provides socially responsible products and services and donates 50% of its profits to charity Free The Children. Me to We organizes camps and overseas voyages for youth and adults who want to make a change in the world. As of November 2011, trips can be made to Kenya, Ecuador,Nicaragua, India, Arizona-Mexico, and China. On these trips, volunteers help to build schools, systems of clean water and sanitation and provide healthcare as well as forms of alternative income. (alternative income is for mothers, who make artisan products which are sold to help care for their families) Me to We refers to these for services as the "four pillars." Volunteers are offered leadership training, as well as opportunities to learn about the region and interact with the people of whatever country they visit. The ultimate goal is to assist a village until it becomes self sufficient, and Me to We can move on to another village in that country, or another country. In addition, it also has Me to We store, where people can buy products made by artisans in third world countries, as well as t-shirts (made in Canada in an environmentally friendly process) and books (for every book purchased, a book is given to a child in a third world country).
