McPherson Peak (78°32′S 84°42′W / 78.533°S 84.7°W) is a peak (2,200 m) located at the west side of the head of Remington Glacier, in Doyran Heights, the Sentinel Range in Ellsworth Mountains, Antarctica. First mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1957-59. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for William C. McPherson, Jr., Navy radioman at the South Pole Station in 1957.
