Mayes Cottage is a heritage-listed[1] colonial building in the Kingston area of Logan City, Australia.[2] It was built in 1887 by John and Emily Mayes who had immigrated to Australia in 1871, initially selling timber for income as they cleared their land then later selling farm produce.[3]
The house is now a museum open to the public. It is furnished in 1930s style.
