Maxine Stuart (born June 28, 1918) is a retired American actress. She has appeared in numerous television series, including Chicago Hope, NYPD Blue and Trapper John, M.D..

Of note is her role as the woman wrapped in bandages in the classic Twilight Zone episode "The Eye of the Beholder."

Early years

Maxine Stuart was born Maxine Schlivek on June 28, 1918 to Max Schlivek, an attorney, and his wife, Helen. Her family soon moved to Lawrence, New York on Long Island, where she attended local schools.
