Mavenlink is a cloud-based team collaboration and project management application, sometimes referred to as a Professional services automation software, developed in the United States. Features

Mavenlink provides file sharing, document management, task management, scheduling, milestone tracking, time tracking, expense tracking, online invoicing, custom branding[2], security and authorization control, and currency localization along with other features. It uses 256-bit SSL encryption to provide security to users.

Mavenlink integrates with Google Apps, including Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, and Google Tasks. The Official Google Enterprise blog listed Mavenlink as one of the top ten best of the Google Apps Marketplace in 2010[3]. In May 2011, the Google Apps Marketplace selected Mavenlink as their first recommended staff pick in the entire Marketplace[4].

Mavenlink is integrated with PayPal. When billing or invoicing within the system, payment can be made or received using the PayPal feature.

Company

Mavenlink was founded in 2008 by Ray Grainger, Sean Crafts, and Roger Neel. The three saw a gap in workforce collaboration tools available for organizations and service providers to effectively manage projects in one central place. In addition, they wanted to create an online workplace where one can expand the human cloud and their trusted networks to locate talent that can handle virtually any kind of project[5].

The beta version was launched in April 2009 and the full version was released in January 2010. In their first year, over 25,000 businesses joined the Mavenlink platform[6]. The company currently operates in Irvine and San Francisco[7].
