Club career
On 18 August 2009, he was signed to a contract with the Melbourne Victory senior squad on a two-year deal.[1][2][3][4] On December 27, 2009 he made his starting debut for Victory against North Queensland Fury in a 1-0 loss.[5]
In the A-League Round 5 match between Brisbane Roar and Melbourne Victory in 2011, Foschini, along with fellow Victory goalkeeper Ante Čović, were controversially sent off by referee Ben Williams for challenges against Roar defenders, reducing the Victory to playing with nine men throughout the match.[6]
Personal life
He is the son of former AFL/VFL player Silvio Foschini.[1] He attended Caulfield Grammar School, where he captained the First XI Team.[7]
