Matthew Brown is an American entrepreneur, film and television producer, and founder of The Frankfurt Group & Holdings, a conglomerate entertainment holding company specializing in film finance, production, and distribution. He is best known as a show-stop producer on the television series Jericho,[1] and as a financier of documentaries including Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers and the 2009 feature Loose Change 9/11: An American Coup.[1][2].

In addition to his involvement in the film industry he is also actively involved with many start-ups and non-profits, often serving as a founder/investor, board member, or as an adviser. Most notability, Matthew co-founded, along with successful clean tech entrepreneurs Aaron Merlob and Peter Colarusso, and served as the Chief Marketing Officer at PACEhub, a federally-funded energy efficiency incubator. Matthew was also instrumental in Lestis Hydro, Wind, and Solar, a start-up focused on the development of power plants utilizing wind, run-of-river, and solar technology.[3].

Personal life

Matthew was born in Appleton, Wisconsin and raised in Mequon, Wisconsin. He briefly attended Texas Christian University (TCU)'s Neely School of Business in Fort Worth, Texas and currently splits his time between both Fort Worth, Texas and Kapolei, Hawaii.[1]

He enjoys "spectator sports, world traveling, and wingsuit skydiving" and is a "recreational pilot and avid golfer".
