He was on the gold medal winning US team at the 2007 Parapan American Games in Brazil. He was nominated for the Best Male Athlete with a Disability ESPY Award for this.[1][2] He has spina bifida and competed in the 2004 Summer Paralympics and 2008 Summer Paralympics. He was the first US Paralympian to star in a Nike, Inc. advertisement. He attended Georgia College & State University. He is playing for Galatasaray Wheelchair Basketball Team in Türkiye right now.
