Matt Mumford (born 6 April 1974 in Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian Professional Skateboarder. Mumford grew up in Rockhampton Queensland and first gained attention when photographed skateboarding locally by Grant Brittain while Brittain was in Australia on tour with Mike McGill. Mumford then traveled to the US in 1993 to pursue a skateboarding career, initially being sponsored by McGill's Chapter 7 team (later Shaft), before moving to Invisible Skateboards. Mumford was then asked by Jamie Thomas to join the then new brand Zero Skateboards in 1996. He currently rides for Slave Skateboards.
