Matt Campanale (born February 14, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey defenceman who is currently playing for the New York Islanders in the National Hockey League (NHL). He is from Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.

Playing career

Campanale played four seasons of college hockey with the New Hampshire Wildcats men's ice hockey team before signing a professional contract with the New York Islanders following the 2010–11 NCAA season.

He made his NHL debut on April 6, 2011, playing over eight minutes on defence and picking up two penalty minutes in a 3-2 loss to the Boston Bruins.^{[1][2] [3] [4]}
