MasterChef Malaysia is a cooking show like the other MasterChef shows in other countries, such as USA, Australia, New Zealand, Croatia , Greece, India, Sweden, Indonesia and Great Britain. The show will be aired for the upcoming first season on Astro Ria.

Season 1

Season 1 of MasterChef Malaysia was officially aired on 22 October 2011 at 9:00 PM (Malaysian Time) on Astro Ria. The Top 40 Contestants were announced on the Official Website of MasterChef Malaysia. In addition to the presenters, the series incorporates Celebrity Chef Challenges featuring guest chefs such as Norman Musa.^[1]
