Massoud Mehrabi

Massoud Mehrabi is an iranian journalist, writer and caricaturist.He was born in Tehran in 1954. He studied cinema at the faculty of Dramatic Arts of the University of Art (1977 - 1982).[1] Massoud Mehrabi Passed a Film Production Management Course - Industrial Management Institute /1983-84 . He started his professional career in 1970 as a journalist, writing articles for several papers. From 1982 to 1989, he worked at the economic desk of the Iranian National Television).

He has been the president and publisher of The Film Monthly magazine (since 1981), The Iranian Cinema Yearbook (since 1992) and The English-language Film International quarterly magazine (since1993).

Always interested by caricatures, he has been a caricaturist and graphist in a variety of iranian publications from 1971 to this day (Caricature weekly, Rastakhiz Daily, Donya-ye Varzesh weekly, Talaash monthly, Javanan weekly, Ayandegan Daily, Kayhan Daily, Zan-e Rouz weekly, Ferdowsi weekly, Pirouzi monthly, Soroush weekly, Fokahyoun weekly, Jahangard weekly/monthly & Essays, articles and art reviews in various papers, 1970-1995).


Masoud Mehrabi writes books on cinema and caricatures and he has participated in several national and international caricature exhibitions.
