The Jug is a large mason jar that is awarded to the classes that demonstrates the most school spirit and sings the loudest rendition of the fight song. The school nominates homecoming and prom courts. A winter dance is a newer tradition among students typically held in February. The "JUG" was actually stolen quite a few years ago.
