Marvin C. Lowrance (born July 16, 1984, in Bellflower, California) is a minor-league outfielder and designated hitter for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim of Major League Baseball. He bats and throws left-handed.

Pre-professional career
Lowrance is a graduate of Wilson Classical High School in Long Beach, California. Prior to being drafted by Montreal, Lowrance attended the University of California at Irvine, where he made 16 plate appearances in eleven games, and Golden West College.
Professional career
2004
Lowrance was selected by Montreal in the seventh round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft and was assigned to the Vermont Expos of the short-season Class A New York-Penn League. In 213 plate appearances at Vermont, Lowrance accrued a batting line of .286 BA / .380 OBP / .378 SLG including 28 walks.
2005
In 2005 Lowrance played briefly for the rookie-level Gulf Coast Nationals and spent most of the season as an outfielder for the Savannah Sand Gnats of the Class A South Atlantic League, accumulating a batting line of .292 / .357 / .442 including 23 extra-base hits in 266 plate appearances.
2006
Lowrance spent the 2006 season as an outfielder for the Potomac Nationals of the advanced Class A Carolina League. Over 429 plate appearances in the season, he drew 43 bases on balls on his way to a batting line of .257 / .341 / .366. He was named Carolina League Player of the Week on August 6.
2007
Lowrance's 2007 season was divided between the Hagerstown Suns of the South Atlantic League and Potomac. He totaled 525 plate appearances with an aggregate batting line of .270 / .386 / .474, including 118 hits (48 for extra bases) and 79 walks. The 2007 season was Lowrance's best in the field as a professional; he committed only 3 errors in 154 chances.
2008
In 2008 Lowrance played for Potomac and for the Harrisburg Senators of the Class AA Eastern League. In 470 trips to the plate, Lowrance logged 61 singles, 50 extra-base hits and 57 walks for a batting line of .275 / .374 / .498. On July 7 he was named Carolina League Player of the Week.
