-
The Marussia B-Series is a series of sports coupés built by Russian automaker Marussia Motors (pronounced ma-rus-ya). The series consists of the B1 and the B2; the cars are very similar technically, but are very different in design. The two vehicles have the same engines, layout, features, suspension, brakes, and price (>4,000,000 rubles or about 100,000 € or 85,000₤). They are the first Russian sports cars ever built.

The car's structure is a very lightweight but strong aluminum semi-monocoque design. The car's engines are produced by British engineering company Cosworth. The car is very sporty but at the same time very luxurious and high-tech. The car's interior is made with high-quality leather and carbon fibre and features a multimedia system with 3 flat panel touch displays powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, allowing the driver to watch movies and television, listen to music, and access to vehicle performance data. In addition, the car has three cameras to give the driver a good view all around the vehicle. Marussia plan to only produce 2999 B1s.[1]
B2 (2010-)
Marussia B2 Manufacturer Marussia Motors Predecessor Marussia B1 Class Sports Car, Supercar Body style 2-seat coupé Layout RMR Engine 3.5L V6 or 2.8L Turbocharged V6 Transmission 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual (in development) Length 4,635 mm (182.5 in) Width 2,000 mm (79 in) Height 1,100 mm (43 in) Curb weight 1,100 kg (2,400 lb) The B2 is the B1's successor, first shown to the public at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The differences between the B1 and the B2 are only cosmetic; the B2 offers a new, edgier design and a new, almost space-age interior. The design was meant to give the car a more aggressive look. Some design features include highlighting the grille and intakes in black to contrast them to the car's body colour and emphasize some of the car's geometric elements, as well as styling the car's face to the shape of the "M" in the Marussia Motors logo.[2]
