Mark Young (1987, Cookstown, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland - 17 May 2009) was a Northern Irish motor-cycle racer competing in the 2009 North West 200 Races on 16th May 2009 crashed at Mather's Cross section during the opening 250cc race.[1] After sustaining injuries from the accident, Mark Young was admitted to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast and died of his injuries the next day.[2]
