Marjolijn Hof (born 1956) is a Dutch writer and lives in Amsterdam. She won many awards including major Dutch awards 'the Gouden Uil Jeugdliteratuurprijs', the Gouden Uil Prijs van de Jonge Lezer' and 'the Gouden Griffel'.[citation needed] 'Mother number zero' and 'Against the odds' are her books translated into English.[citation needed]
