Career
Tichy began his career at local club FC Triesenberg. After playing several years for the regular youth teams of Liechtenstein Football Association, which play their part in Swiss competitions, he signed for FC Balzers in summer 2009.
On 8 June 2011 it was announced, that 1. Liga club USV Eschen-Mauren have signed Tichy.[1]
International career
Tichy played his first international U-17 match on 15 September 2006, facing Greece U-17 in Komotini, Greece.[2]
Tichy was also member of the first ever Liechtenstein U-19 squad to win an international game when they took on DR Congo on 16 September 2009 in Kehlen, Germany. After falling behind 1-0 to their opponents, the Liechtenstein team played with heart and soul and were rewarded with two late goals.[3]
Having represented Liechtenstein at U-17 and U-19 level, Tichy is currently member of the Liechtenstein U-21. He earned his first cap at the U-21 level in a 2013 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship qualification match against Turkey on 25 March 2011.[4]
