Associated Colleges of the Midwest

The Associated Colleges of the Midwest (ACM) is a consortium of thirteen leading liberal arts colleges located in Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. It was founded in 1958 with the purpose of enriching the curricula of its member colleges in ways they could not accomplish alone. The consortium's current president is Chris Welna. ACM's offices are located in Chicago, Illinois.
The ACM offers a number of off-campus study opportunities. These include programs in Tanzania (ecology), Botswana (African culture), India, Japan, England, Itally, the Czech Republic, Costa Rica (tropical sciences; Spanish; Latin American culture), and Chicago (urban studies, art, business, nuclear physics and more).
