Source: CricketArchiveMannofield Park is a cricket ground Mannofield district of Aberdeen, Scotland. The cricket ground is the regular home of the Scotland national cricket team and Aberdeenshire Cricket Club. It is also known as Citylets Mannofield for international fixtures.
Cricket
The first recorded match on the ground dates back to 1879 when Aberdeen University played Edinburgh University. The first first-class match to be held on the ground came in 1930 when Scotland played Ireland. The ground has since played host to nine first-class matches, the last of which came in August 2009 when Scotland played Ireland in the 2009–10 ICC Intercontinental Cup.
The ground has also played host to six One Day Internationals, the first of which came in the 2008 Associates Tri-Series in Scotland when Ireland played New Zealand. The last One Day International to date came in August 2009 when Scotland played Ireland.
