Contents
Features
MangoProjects provides task management tools, microblogging communication, wiki collaboration, project privacy, milestone management, time tracking, and instant messaging communication capabilities. MangoProjects is offered as a stand-alone product or integrates with MangoSpring’s own MangoSuite product.
Browser Client
The MangoProjects Browser Client was developed using Ruby on Rails for Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Google Chrome, and most other web browsers. In the browser, users have access to all MangoProjects features including project and task management, microblogging and instant messaging communication, and activity stream monitoring and collaboration.
Desktop Client
The MangoProjects desktop client runs in the background of other applications, similar to most modern instant messaging clients. The desktop client serves to notify users of new activity in their domain and as a resident application for quick access to MangoProjects features and actions.
Mobile Clients
Developed for the native platform they run on, MangoProjects mobile clients connect users using over-the-air and Wi-Fi data connections. Mobile clients are released for the Apple iPad and iPhone in the iTunes App Store, Android devices in the Android Market, and BlackBerry in the BlackBerry App World.
Pricing
MangoProjects pricing model is subscription-based per user per month. MangoSpring extends discounts for non-profit organizations and annual payment plans. On-premises deployment options are available in addition to SaaS deployment.[5]
