Maltese Youth League Section B 2008–09

The Maltese Youth League Section B 2008–09,the second tier of U19s football in Malta,started on 21 September 2008 and is scheduled to end on May.The two highest finishing teams will be promoted to Section A while the two lowest finishing teams will be relegated to Section C.In the previous season Balzan U19's and Mgarr U19's were promoted to Section A.They were replaced with Mosta U19's and Hamrun U19's,both relegated from Section A.Rabat U19's and Birzebbuga U19's were relegated to Section C.They were replaced with Zurrieq U19's and Qormi U19's,both promoted.

Changes from previous season

• Mgarr U19's and Balzan U19's were promoted to Maltese Youth League Section A 2008-09.They were replaced with Mosta U19's and Hamrun U19's,both relegated from Maltese Youth League Section A 2007-08
• Rabat U19's and Birzebbuga U19's were relegated to Maltese Youth League Section C 2008-09.They were replaced with Qormi U19's and Zurrieq U19's,both promoted from Maltese Youth League Section C 2007-08.
