Malmö District Court (Swedish: Malmö tingsrätt) is a law court in Malmö, Sweden whose jurisdiction includes the municipalities of Burlöv, Malmö and Vellinge. Malmö District Court comes under the Court of Appeal for Skåne and Blekinge.
Building
The district court is located to the rear of the Town Hall. In 2009 it moved into a new building designed by the Danish architectural firm schmidt hammer lassen. The new courthouse is 10,000 sq m building adjacent to the existing 3,000 sq m listed court building. [1]
