Beleg Mountain

Beleg (Albanian: Maja Beleg or Beleg; Montenegrin and Serbian: Белег, Beleg) is a mountain reaching a height of 2,102 m (6,896 ft) located in Kosovo^[a] and Montenegro. It is the second highest peak of the Mokna mountain in the Prokletije range after Pogled at 2,155 m (7,070 ft). Beleg is located a few kilometres north-west of the town of Istok in Kosovo. ^[1]

a.	^ Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Serbia and the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo. The latter declared independence on 17 February 2008, while Serbia claims it as part of its own sovereign territory. Its independence is recognised by 85 UN member states.
