Mahaki dialect

Mahaki is one of the sub-dialects of the Feyli dialect of the Kurdish language. It is spoken by the Kurdish tribes of Ali Sherwan (Beyrey) in the Ilam province of Iran and among almost all the Feyli Kurds living in Baghdad, Mandali, Badrah and Zorbatiah in Iraq. This sub-dialect shares many features with the Sorani dialect.
