A magic school is an institution for learning magic. It may also be a school which is magically protected.

Other meaning

A "school" of magic also refers divisions of magic into fields such as conjuration, enchantment, transmutation, evocation, illusion, and necromancy. Exorcism, thaumaturgy, geomancy, alchemy, or healing can also be schools of magic.
