"Mafia Music" is a street single from Rick Ross' third studio album, Deeper Than Rap. It was the first single from the album and was officially released January 25, 2009. There was a music video released in February 2009.

Background

"Mafia Music" failed to chart on any of the Billboard charts.

This song features no chorus nor bridge, and is basically one long, continuous verse.

"Mafia Music" is what sparked the feud between Rick Ross and 50 Cent. ^[1].

Ross raps,

"I love to pay her bills/can’t wait to pay her rent/Curtis Jackson baby mama/I aint askin for a cent/Burn the house down/gotta buy another/don’t forget the gas can/jealous, stupid muthafucka"

The line is a reference from the G-Unit leader's suspicious Long Island house fire last May that his son and ex-girlfriend were living in.^[2]

The remix features Ja Rule, Game & Fat Joe all of whom have had a feud with rapper, 50 Cent.^[3]
