Jessica Silverman (born 1983)[1] is an American art curator, gallery owner and writer who lives in San Francisco, California with her partner, Carolina.
Silverman received her Masters degree in Curatorial Practice from California College of the Arts.[2] She is the current owner and founder of Silverman Gallery in San Francisco[3] where her artist and exhibition programs have garnered national press and recognition.[4][5][6][7][8] Silverman also co-operates the online print and fashion outlet Look Boutique.[9] Silverman's independent curating projects include the January 2009 exhibition " Trip Down (false) Memory Lane"[10][11] in San Francisco and the national exhibition "BAD MOON RISING 3"[12][13] in St. Louis, Missouri. Silverman sits on the boards of New Langton Arts in San Francisco and the San Francisco Arts Commission Gallery.[14][15]
In addition to numerous essays in catalog publications, Silverman also writes for Whitehot Magazine.[16]
