George Mackenzie (Australian soldier)

Colonel George Mackenzie (born 1931) is a former Australian Army officer.

Mackenzie was born in Melbourne and was educated at Scotch College. He joined the Australian Army shortly after graduatinghis father had served in the Army in World War IIand during the Vietnam War he was stationed in Saigon, where he served as the Australian Defence Force's chief legal officer.

He has served as a Shrine of Remembrance trustee, and is one of its eight life governors.
