Career

Roberts turned professional with the Ottawa Senators in 1909–10, playing in CHA, NHA and Stanley Cup games. After the season, he moved to Montreal and joined the Wanderers. He played for the Wanders from 1910–11 through 1915–16 while he attended McGill University, studying medicine. He then moved out west, playing for the Vancouver Millionaires in 1916–17, Seattle in 1917–18, and Vancouver again in 1919–20.

By 1919, Morris was practising medicine in Howe Sound, British Columbia and retired from hockey to focus on his medical career. He moved to New York in 1922 to do post-graduate work. He moved west to teach at Stanford University and later to practice medicine in Oakland, California.[1]
