Durga Tekdi

Durga Tekdi is hill in Nigdi Pune. It is popular with residents of Nigdi. The tekdi (hill) derives its name from the Durga Devi temple on the hill. Durga Tekdi also known as "Durgadevi park" is a prestigious aspects of Pimpri Chinchwad corporation. over 1,60000 trees have been planted on an area of 75 Hector. Plants such as rain tree. Pelthohorum, Ficus, Neem Glyricidia, Suru, Sisoo, Kasid, Subabul etc. have been planted.Lawn on over 3 acres of land. has been maintained for recreation purposes.Recently 59,805 trees have been planted on 92 Hector of land nearly, This park Waterfall and floating fountain add to the natural beauty of this hill station.^[1]

Indira Gandhi Udyan

Adjacent to Durga Tekdi, is Indira Gandhi Udyan (Appu Ghar). Built on the lines of Appu Ghar in Delhi its an amusement park. The layout plan of this par perfectly matches with the design of various Rides & Games. The ethnic huts & family swings add to the beauty of the layout.^[1]
