The town is situated on the banks of the Thuli Bheri River at an altitude of around 2,000 meters.
At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 1773 persons living in 334 individual households.[1]
Dunai is also another name for the Danube River in Europe. Another common spelling is Dunaj It has been found as a last/family name from the areas of Austria, Hungary, and the Ukraine.
Dunai settlement is name for settlement in Leningrad Oblast.
