Duele is the lead single from Chenoa's 5th studio album, Desafiando la gravedad. The single premiered for the first time on July 25, 2009 on Cadena Dial. The song has been described by Universal Music as a strong and heartbreaking ballad.

The digital single was released on August 4, 2009 via itunes. It went straight to the top of the store chart, peaking at #11 in less than 24 hours after its release.

Duele debuted #41 on the official Spanish Singles Chart by PROMUSICAE. The song has peaked at #14 so far ^[1]. Despite the song didn't had the support of the big national radio stations, Duele reached #12 on the Top 20 Airplay chart, which is a huge position for a ballad.
