Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology ( MCET ) established in the year 1998 is a private, autonomous, self financing, co-educational institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE ) and is affiliated to the Anna University.[1] The college is located on the Coimbatore“ Dindugal National Highway ( NH-209) in 29 acres of land at Pollachi.
The college offers 8 Engineering and 3 Applied Science undergraduate programmes in various disciplines and 6 postgraduate programmes and 2 doctoral programmes. The institute has been awarded with ISO 9001:2000 certificate by TUV Rhineland. Also it is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation ( NBA ).
