Harold Katz (dentist)

Dr. Harold Katz (born August 30, 1949) is an American television personality, the creator of Therabreath, an oral hygiene product line founded in 1994, and a columnist at the news website The Huffington Post.[1] He has been featured on many shows including Good Morning America, ABC News, Fox News, NBC News, CBS Early Show, The View, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, where he measures bad breath with a device and discusses how to deal with issues like halitosis, tonsil stones, bad breath, dry mouth, and taste disorders. He was dubbed the 'Bad Breath Guru' on shows like The View and the CBS Early Show. In 2002, Katz published a book called The Bad Breath Bible, which is a guide based on his research on the causes and cures of halitosis and other oral hygiene problems. The guide has over one million copies in print and is now in its second edition. [2][3][4][5] [6][7][8][9][10]

Katz is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the UCLA School of Dentistry and is a holder of a separate degree in Bacteriology, also from UCLA. In the 1970s he established a dental practice in Beverly Hills, California, and in 1993, he founded the California Breath Clinics, where he treated and continued to study patients. [11][12][13]
