She landed her first assignment was on the DC Comics featureShining Knight . Her first full assignment was on the back up feature ofAquaman , for whom she co-created the sidekickAqualad .Following her time with Aquaman, she co-created
Metamorpho . Fradon drew four issues ofMetamorpho . She returned briefly to design a few covers for the title.From 1965 to 1972, she took a break to raise their daughter. With 1972, Fradon returned to
DC Comics . Her work showed up onSuperman ,Batman , andPlastic Man . Her other work includes Marvel's The Cat andFantastic Four ; DC'sPlastic Man , Freedom Fighters, andSuper Friends .In 1980,
Dale Messick retired fromBrenda Starr , and Fradon became the artist forBrenda Starr . Fradon retired in 1995 fromBrenda Starr , turning the chores over toJune Brigman thereafter.Brenda Starr still remains today a popular feature in the newspapers throughout the world.Fradon was inducted into the Comic Book Hall of Fame in 2006.
