Dotson Ridge

Dotson Ridge (76°46′S 161°25′E / 76.767°S 161.417°E / -76.767; 161.417) is a ridgelike nunatak, 1.5 nautical miles (2.8 km) long, rising to 1,640 m in the northwest part of Flight Deck Neve, Convoy Range. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from ground surveys and Navy air photos. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) in 1964 for Morris F. Dotson, electrician at McMurdo Station, 1962.
