Career

Malek began her singing career in 1999 at the age of 14. She was lead singer in the band ALICE from 2003-2006 and started her solo career in 2007; releasing the 3-track EP "Loosing Myself" in January 2010. The EP has been produced by Karen Stever and Frank Gryner (Rob Zombie, A Perfect Circle, Tommy Lee, Spineshank). During Hypocrisy (band) - Tour 2010 she had the chance to meet the band. Their crew member and Nightwish - merchandiser paid attention and invited her for a tour to Finland/Iisalmi where she played in different clubs. Short after Dorota made a guest appearance on the track "Noora" by Dutch/Finnish band Tornado (released on the album "Amsterdamn, Hellsinki " in June 2011, produced by Peter Tägtgren). The debut album "Dayphobia" has been released in digital stores October 31, 2011. This record was produced by herself with support of guitar-mastermind Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call) and Dave Freakazoid.
