Dongshankou Station (Chinese: 东山口站; literally "Entrance of East Hill Station") is a station of Line 1 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 June 1997. It is situated at the underground of Zhongshan Road (Chinese: 中山路; pinyin: Zhongshan Lu), Nonglinxia Road (Chinese: 农林下路; pinyin: Nonglin Xialu), Donghua Road South (Chinese: 东华南路; pinyin: Donghua Nanlu) and Shuqian Road (Chinese: 署前路; pinyin: Shuqian Lu) in Yuexiu District.[1] Dongshan (Chinese: 东山; literally "East Hill") is an old business zone in Guangzhou.[2]
